{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-2-305.5","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63G-2-305.5","heading":"Viewing or obtaining lists of signatures.","body":"(1) The records custodian of a signature described in Subsection 63G-2-305(74) shall, upon request, except for a name or signature classified as private under Title 20A, Chapter 2, Voter Registration:\n(a) provide a list of the names of the individuals who signed the petition or request; and\n(b) permit an individual to view, but not take a copy or other image of, the signatures on a political petition described in Subsection 63G-2-305(74).\n(2) The records custodian of a signature described in Subsection 63G-2-305(75) shall, upon request, except for a name or signature classified as private under Title 20A, Chapter 2, Voter Registration:\n(a) provide a list of the names of registered voters, excluding the names that are classified as private under Title 20A, Chapter 2, Voter Registration; and\n(b) except for a signature classified as private under Title 20A, Chapter 2, Voter Registration, permit an individual to view, but not take a copy or other image of, the signature on a voter registration record.\n(3) Except for a signature classified as private under Title 20A, Chapter 2, Voter Registration, the records custodian of a signature described in Subsection 63G-2-305(76) shall, upon request, permit an individual to view, but not take a copy or other image of, a signature.","path":["Title 63G General Government","Chapter 63G-2 Government Records Access and Management Act","Part 63G-2-3 Classification"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63G/Chapter2/63G-2-S305.5.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"9542f61a9431bd2ce641500643427944a0b9d33c70a58edbed5a9050eb511e5b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-2-305","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-2-306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
