{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-24-202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63G-24-202","heading":"Application.","body":"(1) The application period for an appointed board member shall last for a period of at least:\n(a) 30 days for an open position due to an expiring term; or\n(b) 14 days for an open position due to a vacancy occurring for a reason other than the expiration of a term.\n(2) An applicant shall use the application feature on the governor's website described in Subsection 67-1-2.5(4) to apply for a vacant appointed board member position unless the notice described in Section 63G-24-201 specifies a different application process.\n(3) The application feature described in Subsection (2) shall require the applicant to provide information including:\n(a) the applicant's name;\n(b) the applicant's current employment; and\n(c) the applicant's affiliation with public and private entities, including employment, in the five years on or before the day on which the applicant submits the application.","path":["Title 63G General Government","Chapter 63G-24 Board Vacancies and Conflicts Act","Part 63G-24-2 Vacancies"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63G/Chapter24/63G-24-S202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"5b30aff0b67924fe7f65ce5dc49eda4310f988246161345356aa1da4759d133f","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-24-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-24-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
