{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-28-202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63G-28-202","heading":"Games committee duties.","body":"(1) The games committee shall:\n(a) review issues related to:\n(i) the state's and the host committee's activities and finances involved in preparing for and coordinating the hosting of the games;\n(ii) the impact of hosting the games on the state; and\n(iii) any financial or public resource obligation undertaken by the state in relation to hosting the games;\n(b) review a report provided to the games committee under Section 63G-28-203;\n(c) review any contract that legally binds the state or lists the state as a party; and\n(d) make recommendations to the Legislature regarding the host committee and the state's role in hosting the games.\n(2) The games committee may, during a regular meeting of the games committee, or a meeting scheduled by the games committee at the request of the division, provide recommendations regarding the fund and grants from the fund.","path":["Title 63G General Government","Chapter 63G-28 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Act","Part 63G-28-2 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Coordination Committee"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63G/Chapter28/63G-28-S202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"951ea0c4e2528ffff0d4ccd91f7c185a4ab65bb0cb86a2e39ec041b3a8ff47be","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-28-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-28-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
