{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-28-301","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63G-28-301","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part:\n(1) \"Fund\" means the Olympic and Paralympic Venues Grant Fund.\n(2) \"Improve\" or \"improvements\" means the replacement or addition to infrastructure, buildings, building components, or facility equipment.\n(3) \"Venue\" means a facility:\n(a) designed and currently approved under standards developed by a generally recognized sports federation to host world-class level, international winter sports competitions; and\n(b) used for recreational, developmental, and competitive athletic training.\n(4) \"Venue operator\" means a person who:\n(a) operates a venue that is exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code; or\n(b) owns a venue or operates a venue under contract with the public owner of the venue.","path":["Title 63G General Government","Chapter 63G-28 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Act","Part 63G-28-3 Funds, Accounts, and Grant Programs"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63G/Chapter28/63G-28-S301.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"9d70f0ff2d1d8a58a94f319b7adf6091a0403e49ec8e54e0f9a1c89edc1910bc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-28-204","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-28-302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
