{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-6a-112","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63G-6a-112","heading":"Required public notice.","body":"(1) A procurement unit that issues a solicitation shall post notice of the solicitation:\n(a) at least seven days before the day of the deadline for submission of a solicitation response; and\n(b)\n(i) on the main website for the procurement unit; or\n(ii) on a state website that is owned, managed by, or provided under contract with, the division for posting a public procurement notice.\n(2) A procurement unit may reduce the seven-day period described in Subsection (1), if the procurement unit's procurement official signs a written statement that:\n(a) states that a shorter time is needed; and\n(b) determines that competition from multiple sources may be obtained within the shorter period of time.\n(3)\n(a) It is the responsibility of a person seeking information provided by a notice published under this section to seek out, find, and respond to the notice.\n(b) As a courtesy and in order to promote competition, a procurement unit may provide, but is not required to provide, individual notice.","path":["Title 63G General Government","Chapter 63G-6a Utah Procurement Code","Part 63G-6a-1 General Procurement Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63G/Chapter6a/63G-6a-S112.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"72ca9cf5892df165829baba48624935395a3be799e433b751c2e877720160326","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-6a-111","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-6a-113"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
