{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-6a-2103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63G-6a-2103","heading":"Purchases between public entities.","body":"(1)\n(a)\n(i) A public entity may purchase a procurement item from another public entity.\n(ii) Subsection (1)(a)(i) may not be construed to require a public entity to sell a procurement item to another public entity.\n(b) As provided in Subsection 63G-6a-107.6(1)(a), a purchase under Subsection (1)(a) is not subject to the procurement requirements of this chapter.\n(c)\n(i) Subsection (1)(a) does not authorize a public entity to obtain a procurement item under a contract of another public entity.\n(ii) Subsection (1)(c)(i) does not affect the authority of a procurement unit relating to a cooperative procurement under Subsection 63G-6a-2105(4)(b).\n(2) A public entity may publish a schedule of costs or fees for procurement items available for purchase by another public entity.","path":["Title 63G General Government","Chapter 63G-6a Utah Procurement Code","Part 63G-6a-21 Interaction Between Procurement Units"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63G/Chapter6a/63G-6a-S2103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"03349c2013e1d0e28f48cc973d94bf2379fe06a94fad3310edd3fc3bc04f12d1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-6a-2102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63g-6a-2104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
