{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63h-1-801","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63H-1-801","heading":"Dissolution of authority -- Restrictions -- Filing copy of ordinance -- Authority records -- Dissolution expenses.","body":"(1) The authority may not be dissolved unless the authority has no outstanding bonded indebtedness, other unpaid loans, indebtedness, or advances, and no legally binding contractual obligations with persons or entities other than the state.\n(2) Upon the dissolution of the authority:\n(a) the Governor's Office of Economic Development shall publish a notice of dissolution:\n(i) in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the dissolved authority is located; and\n(ii) as required in Section 45-1-101; and\n(b) all title to property owned by the authority vests in the state.\n(3) The books, documents, records, papers, and seal of each dissolved authority shall be deposited for safekeeping and reference with the state auditor.\n(4) The authority shall pay all expenses of the deactivation and dissolution.","path":["Title 63H Independent State Entities","Chapter 63H-1 Military Installation Development Authority Act","Part 63H-1-8 Authority Dissolution"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63H/Chapter1/63H-1-S801.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"32af37ac14e76455f74c44a74c5542996f407f555f6c167a4a72e843bdec425c","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63h-1-706","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63h-4-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
