{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63h-9-102","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63H-9-102","heading":"Independent entity best practices.","body":"(1) By May 1 of each year, the Legislative Management Committee may designate one or more of the independent entities listed in Subsection 63H-9-101(4)(c) for legislative study.\n(2) An independent entity designated for legislative study under Subsection (1) shall:\n(a) use all designated material in the best practices toolbox to conduct a self-assessment of the independent entity;\n(b) report the results of the assessment described in Subsection (2)(a) to the consensus group and the governor by June 30; and\n(c) cooperate with the consensus group and, upon request from the consensus group, provide information and material pertaining to an assessment described in Section 63H-9-103.\n(3) An independent entity may request best practice training from the Office of the Legislative Auditor General.","path":["Title 63H Independent State Entities","Chapter 63H-9 Oversight of Independent Entities"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63H/Chapter9/63H-9-S102.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"a64e9c268202df0fd43b0844f87c3337d26fb2ead9c1a35ced9cbf4fe27a2ac0","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63h-9-101","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63h-9-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
