{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63l-8-309","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63L-8-309","heading":"Timber Fund.","body":"(1) There is created an expendable special revenue fund known as the \"Timber Fund.\"\n(2) The fund described in Subsection (1) shall consist of:\n(a) money received from the disposal of timber prepared for sale from public lands;\n(b) money voluntarily donated or contributed to the fund; and\n(c) interest earned on the fund.\n(3) The DLM may expend money in the fund for the purposes of:\n(a) planning and preparing timber for disposal;\n(b) the administration of timber sales;\n(c) site preparation and reforestation;\n(d) wildfire suppression and rehabilitation on forested public land; and\n(e) overhead and direct costs associated with timber management.","path":["Title 63L Lands","Chapter 63L-8 Utah Public Land Management Act","Part 63L-8-3 Administration of the Utah Public Land Management Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63L/Chapter8/63L-8-S309.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"86e2a036f9e15cc97741fbe7dd69766a9fad650812b71757656f922a66f525a3","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63l-8-308","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63l-8-310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
