{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63m-11-102","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63M-11-102","heading":"Creation -- Purpose.","body":"(1) In accordance with this chapter, there is created within the governor's office the Utah Commission on Aging.\n(2) The commission's purpose is to:\n(a) increase public and government understanding of the current and future needs of the state's aging population and how those needs may be most effectively and efficiently met;\n(b) study, evaluate, and report on the projected impact that the state's increasing aging population will have on:\n(i) government services;\n(ii) health services;\n(iii) social services;\n(iv) the economy; and\n(v) society in general;\n(c) identify and recommend implementation of specific policies, procedures, and programs to respond to the needs and impact of the aging population relating to:\n(i) government services;\n(ii) health services;\n(iii) social services;\n(iv) the economy; and\n(v) society in general;\n(d) facilitate coordination of the functions of public and private entities concerned with the aging population; and\n(e) accomplish the duties enumerated in Section 63M-11-203.","path":["Title 63M Governor's Programs","Chapter 63M-11 Utah Commission on Aging","Part 63M-11-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63M/Chapter11/63M-11-S102.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"477f6333e0e97e89a42070812e78b69ce5e54d24e25160eb25c9fd375154f0ab","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63m-11-101","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63m-11-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
