{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63m-15-206","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63M-15-206","heading":"Oversight -- Staff support -- Funding.","body":"(1) Utah State University shall:\n(a) working in consultation with the commission, hire a coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of the commission;\n(b) pay the salary of the coordinator and review the coordinator's performance;\n(c) provide other staff support for the commission; and\n(d) provide office space, furnishings, and supplies to the commission, the coordinator, and support staff.\n(2) Funding for the commission shall be dedicated credits from the $20 marriage license fee described in Section 17-66-303 and added funding sought by the commission from private contributions and grants that support the duties of the commission described in Section 63M-15-204.\n(3) Before November 1, 2024, and before November 1 of each third year after 2024, the commission shall provide a written report to the Health and Human Services Interim Committee regarding the commission's:\n(a) initiatives and whether the initiatives could be accomplished by a private organization; and\n(b) funding sources, including the effectiveness and necessity of the marriage license fee, described in Section 17-66-303, in providing commission funding.","path":["Title 63M Governor's Programs","Chapter 63M-15 Utah Marriage Commission","Part 63M-15-2 Commission"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63M/Chapter15/63M-15-S206.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"b6ab2c41c827d024a122d242f8ca4e41071553b9e5027720e9b95a98d1f1bbb8","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63m-15-205","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63n-1a-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
