{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63n-24-203","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63N-24-203","heading":"Moderate income housing plan reporting requirements.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Affordable housing\" means, as determined by the division, the number of housing units within a county or municipality where a household whose income is at or below 50% of area median income is able to live in a unit without spending more than 30% of the household's income on housing costs.\n(b) \"County\" means the unincorporated area of a county.\n(c) \"Low-income housing\" means, as determined by the division, the number of Section 42, Internal Revenue Code, housing units within a county or municipality.\n(d) \"Municipality\" means a city or town.\n(2)\n(a) On or before October 1 of each year, the division shall provide a report to the office for inclusion in the office's annual report described in Section 63N-1a-306.\n(b) The report shall include:\n(i) an estimate of how many affordable housing units and how many low-income housing units are available in each county and municipality in the state;\n(ii) a determination of the percentage of affordable housing available in each county and municipality in the state as compared to the statewide average;\n(iii) a determination of the percentage of low-income housing available in each county and municipality in the state as compared to the statewide average; and\n(iv) a description of how information in the report was calculated.","path":["Title 63N Economic Opportunity Act","Chapter 63N-24 Division Of Housing And Community Development","Part 63N-24-2 Housing Coordination And Planning"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63N/Chapter24/63N-24-S203.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"1063e26c800a8171abaa35f95b15b58726ca795e11f0c4cba545a1f36882af4b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63n-24-202","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63n-24-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
