{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63n-3a-202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63N-3a-202","heading":"Committee consideration of a proposal.","body":"(1) The proposing creating entity shall present the proposal to the committee in a public meeting.\n(2) Before voting to approve or deny a proposal, the committee shall evaluate and verify whether the proposal adequately addresses relevant objectives and requirements described in Part 3, Specific Provisions.\n(3) In considering a proposal, a committee may request any information from a creating entity needed to make a determination about whether to approve or deny a proposal, or approve a proposal with modifications, including a description of the proposed uses of funds and how funds will be used to support public projects related to the regionally significant development zone.\n(4) The committee may:\n(a) request changes to the proposal;\n(b) vote to approve the proposal, with or without modifications to the proposal; or\n(c) vote to deny the proposal.\n(5) If the committee votes to approve the proposal, with or without modifications, the committee shall:\n(a) fulfill the requirements of Section 63N-3a-203; and\n(b) establish any parameters described in Section 63N-3a-204.","path":["Title 63N Economic Opportunity Act","Chapter 63N-3a Coordination Of Regional Economic Development Activity","Part 63N-3a-2 Creation Of Regionally Significant Development Zones"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63N/Chapter3a/63N-3a-S202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"a8be50ddd98186d52807027010803bf4acf8003a7f3bda6c2bfaa07a32a2611b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63n-3a-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63n-3a-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
