{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-64-13-51","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 64-13-51","heading":"Drug abuse and trafficking unit.","body":"(1) The department shall create a drug abuse and trafficking unit within the department.\n(2) The drug abuse and trafficking unit created in Subsection (1) shall:\n(a) develop and implement strategies to combat drug abuse and trafficking by:\n(i) offenders within correctional facilities and under the department's supervision; and\n(ii) individuals working directly with, or in connection with, offenders within correctional facilities or under the department's supervision; and\n(b) enhance collaboration and information sharing between the department and law enforcement agencies throughout the state to combat drug abuse and trafficking by the individuals listed in Subsections (2)(a)(i) and (ii).","path":["Title 64 State Institutions","Chapter 64-13 Department of Corrections - State Prison"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title64/Chapter13/64-13-S51.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"db3c36374f35bcfb42e61e805bdfefc5a1b94664fbe614942739cb78b84865c1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-64-13-50","next":"us-ut/utah-code-64-13a-1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
