{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-65a-8a-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 65A-8a-103","heading":"Registration of operators.","body":"(1) An operator intending to conduct forest practices in Utah, except a landowner conducting forest practices on the landowner's own land, shall register with the division.\n(2) The operator shall submit the following information to the division:\n(a) the name of the company;\n(b) the name of the state where the company is incorporated; and\n(c) the name, telephone number, and address of a company officer and an on-the-ground supervisor.\n(3) In consultation with industry representatives, the division may establish, by rule, minimum requirements for registration of operators in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.\n(4) The division shall make available to landowners a list of registered operators.","path":["Title 65A Forestry, Fire, and State Lands","Chapter 65A-8a Utah Forest Practices Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title65A/Chapter8a/65A-8a-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"c729196f69a149fe49952724d933260d20ffdaf388ef9cabe394aeae8090a551","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-65a-8a-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-65a-8a-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
