{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-67-24-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 67-24-103","heading":"Qualified prohibitions on lobbyists -- Time limit -- Exceptions.","body":"(1) Except as provided in Subsection (2), a former state official may not become a lobbyist or engage in lobbying that would require registration as a lobbyist under Title 36, Chapter 11, Lobbyist Disclosure and Regulation Act, for one calendar year, beginning on the day the state official leaves office and ending on the one-year anniversary of that day.\n(2) This section does not apply if the former state official engages in lobbying on behalf of:\n(a) the former state official; or\n(b) a business with which the former state official is associated, unless the primary activity of the business is lobbying or governmental relations.","path":["Title 67 State Officers and Employees","Chapter 67-24 Lobbying Restrictions Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title67/Chapter24/67-24-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"32a18d4c86897aa4db1648fe42a629070ff4c06cc75daf2602f7a004f9e39319","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-67-24-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-67-26-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
