{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-70-3a-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 70-3a-201","heading":"Rulemaking authority of division.","body":"In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the division may by rule:\n(1) pursuant to Subsection 70-3a-302(1), establish the filing requirements for an application for a registration of a mark;\n(2) pursuant to Subsection 70-3a-303(2), establish what information in addition to the information contained in the application shall be submitted by an applicant for registration under Section 70-3a-302;\n(3) pursuant to Subsection 70-3a-303(3), establish the requirements for an applicant or registrant to disclaim an unregistrable component of a mark that is otherwise registrable;\n(4) pursuant to Section 70-3a-305, establish the filing requirements for an application to renew a registration of a mark; and\n(5) establish the filing requirements for a filing under Section 70-3a-306.","path":["Title 70 Trademarks and Trade Names","Chapter 70-3a Registration and Protection of Trademarks and Service Marks Act","Part 70-3a-2 Division Powers and Duties"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title70/Chapter3a/70-3a-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"34e7cb41f4239ef41f33b29a472ecd1bdd0f4386de2bad4daf7fd5aec869d1fc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-70-3a-104","next":"us-ut/utah-code-70-3a-202"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
