{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-70c-8-203","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 70C-8-203","heading":"Fees -- Examinations.","body":"(1) A party required to file notification under Section 70C-8-202 shall, on or before December 31 of each year, pay to the department an annual fee of $100.\n(2) In addition to filing notification, a party subject to this part, and a depository institution subject to this title:\n(a) may be required to make a book or record relating to a consumer credit transaction available to the department or its authorized representative for examination; and\n(b) shall pay to the department a fee to be set by the department based on an hourly rate per each examiner.\n(3) No portion of a fee paid or owed to the department under this part is refundable because a party voluntarily or involuntarily ceases to extend credit to consumers:\n(a) during the period covered by the fee; or\n(b) before the time of an examination by the department of a book or record pertaining to a preceding consumer credit transaction.","path":["Title 70C Utah Consumer Credit Code","Chapter 70C-8 Administration","Part 70C-8-2 Notification and Fees"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title70C/Chapter8/70C-8-S203.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"092c92ebb41f0afdb04ccb52ae76fd87a064b112fcac6569298846f94de79bb3","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-70c-8-202","next":"us-ut/utah-code-70d-1-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
