{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-70d-3-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 70D-3-103","heading":"General powers and duties of commissioner.","body":"Subject to this chapter:\n(1) In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the commissioner may make rules authorized by this chapter, including:\n(a) providing for an interim procedure for:\n(i) licensing; and\n(ii) acceptance of an application; and\n(b) coordination between filings required under this chapter and:\n(i) Title 70C, Utah Consumer Credit Code; or\n(ii) Chapter 2, Mortgage Lending and Servicing Act.\n(2) The commissioner may enter into a relationship or contract with the nationwide database or another entity designated by the nationwide database to do the following related to a licensee or other person subject to this chapter:\n(a) collect or maintain a record; and\n(b) process a transaction fee or other fee.\n(3) The commissioner shall regularly report the following to the nationwide database:\n(a) a violation of this chapter;\n(b) disciplinary action under Section 70D-3-501; and\n(c) other information relevant to this chapter.","path":["Title 70D Financial Institution Mortgage Financing Regulation Act","Chapter 70D-3 Financial Institution Loan Originator Licensing Act","Part 70D-3-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title70D/Chapter3/70D-3-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"689a972f4cadd627888d2c5f739e156abb8143bdf7bd3b510f6048674d904e42","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-70d-3-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-70d-3-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
