{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-70d-3-203","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 70D-3-203","heading":"Initial licensure procedure.","body":"(1) To apply for licensure under this chapter an individual shall:\n(a) file an application with the commissioner in a form prescribed by the commissioner in rule;\n(b) demonstrate that the individual provided the information to the nationwide database required by 12 U.S.C. Sec. 5104;\n(c) provide the commissioner the individual's unique identifier;\n(d) consent to the commissioner receiving information obtained by the nationwide database under 12 U.S.C. Sec. 5104, including the results of a criminal history background check; and\n(e) notwithstanding the requirements applicable to a regulatory fee under Section 63J-1-504, pay a fee of $200.\n(2) The commissioner shall grant an individual a license if the commissioner finds that the individual complies with:\n(a) Subsection (1); and\n(b) the qualifications for a license under Section 70D-3-202.\n(3) Subject to this chapter, the commissioner may make rules in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, concerning:\n(a) the form of an application under this chapter;\n(b) the content of an application under this chapter; and\n(c) the procedures for filing an application under this chapter.","path":["Title 70D Financial Institution Mortgage Financing Regulation Act","Chapter 70D-3 Financial Institution Loan Originator Licensing Act","Part 70D-3-2 Licensing Requirements and Procedures"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title70D/Chapter3/70D-3-S203.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"7ef4191eef330226704a1295a99280395ac194ffb7e4f3c6b7cb5f1635abf600","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-70d-3-202","next":"us-ut/utah-code-70d-3-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
