{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-72-16-302","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 72-16-302","heading":"Daily inspection required.","body":"(1)\n(a) Each day an owner-operator operates an amusement ride for use by the general public, the owner-operator or the owner-operator's designee shall inspect and operate the amusement ride in accordance with this section and rules established under this chapter.\n(b) The owner-operator or the owner-operator's designee shall complete the inspection and operation described in Subsection (1)(a):\n(i) before the owner-operator begins operation for use by the general public; and\n(ii) in accordance with rule made under this chapter.\n(2) The owner-operator shall:\n(a) make a record of each daily inspection that is signed by the individual who performed the inspection; and\n(b) maintain each record described in Subsection (2)(a) for at least one year after the day on which the inspection is performed.","path":["Title 72 Transportation Code","Chapter 72-16 Amusement Ride Safety Act","Part 72-16-3 Amusement Ride Safety"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title72/Chapter16/72-16-S302.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"2e9ec69654dd8d3efed01ea9c995f3b469b422f99ab5c15ea9c5ccb9ab651502","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-72-16-301","next":"us-ut/utah-code-72-16-303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
