{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-72-19-302","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 72-19-302","heading":"Duties of the broadband center.","body":"(1) The broadband center shall:\n(a) establish an application process by which an eligible applicant may apply for a grant under this part, which application shall include:\n(i) a declaration, signed under penalty of perjury, that the application is complete, true, and correct; and\n(ii) an acknowledgment that the eligible applicant is subject to audit;\n(b) establish a method for the broadband center to determine which eligible applicants qualify to receive a grant;\n(c) establish a formula to award grant funds; and\n(d) report the information described in Subsections (1)(a) through (c) to the director of the Division of Finance.\n(2) Subject to appropriation, the broadband center shall:\n(a) collect applications for grant funds from eligible applicants;\n(b) determine which applicants qualify for receiving a grant; and\n(c) award the grant funds in accordance with the process established under Subsection (1) and in accordance with Section 72-19-301.\n(3) The department, in coordination with the broadband center, may make rules in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, to administer the grant program.","path":["Title 72 Transportation Code","Chapter 72-19 Utah Broadband Center","Part 72-19-3 Broadband Access Grant Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title72/Chapter19/72-19-S302.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"c95e7e0bb1f687d63a8a3ebf379fe42afe72e5dc9fe7960eefc7d0b7175ac24f","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-72-19-301","next":"us-ut/utah-code-72-19-401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
