{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-72-4-301.5","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 72-4-301.5","heading":"Designation of highways as a National Scenic Byway or All-American Road -- Legislative approval.","body":"(1) Except as provided in Section 72-4-304, a highway or state scenic byway may not be nominated for designation as a National Scenic Byway or All-American Road unless the corridor management plan that will be submitted with the application for the highway or state scenic byway to be nominated for designation as a National Scenic Byway or All-American Road is approved by the Legislature by concurrent resolution.\n(2)\n(a) In accordance with Subsection (1), the Legislature may, by concurrent resolution:\n(i) approve the corridor management plan;\n(ii) approve the corridor management plan with conditions specified by the Legislature; or\n(iii) deny the corridor management plan.\n(b) Upon a decision by the Legislature under Subsection (2)(a), the nominating entity is not required to move forward with the nomination for the National Scenic Byway or All-American Road designation.","path":["Title 72 Transportation Code","Chapter 72-4 Designation of State Highways Act","Part 72-4-3 Utah State Scenic Byway Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title72/Chapter4/72-4-S301.5.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"77af0214ec3a274e39e213c5d43c4c02b7145510af0f4a0da785f83edf8f3991","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-72-4-301","next":"us-ut/utah-code-72-4-302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
