{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-72-7-209","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 72-7-209","heading":"Enforcement authority -- Agreements with United States.","body":"(1) In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the department may make rules:\n(a) governing the materials that may be used for screening and the location, construction, and maintenance of screening for junkyards; and\n(b) implementing and enforcing this part.\n(2) The department may:\n(a) enter into agreements with the secretary pursuant to Title 23, United States Code as amended, relating to the control of junkyards in areas adjacent to the interstate and primary systems; and\n(b) take action in the name of the state to comply with the terms of the agreements.","path":["Title 72 Transportation Code","Chapter 72-7 Protection of Highways Act","Part 72-7-2 Junkyard Control Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title72/Chapter7/72-7-S209.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"6d2a15de901fbe242bb0f90cc8ee3ca88767215d18a46d842d473ca9f1f5884a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-72-7-208","next":"us-ut/utah-code-72-7-210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
