{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-73-10-28","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 73-10-28","heading":"Charges for use -- Interest.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"board\" means the Board of Water Resources created in Section 73-10-1.5.\n(2) The board shall establish:\n(a) a charge for the use of water, power, or a facility based on:\n(i) a contractual agreement approved by the board for a project owned by the state; and\n(ii) the ability of an individual project to return the investment to the state; and\n(b) an interest rate for the money the board lends to finance a project based on:\n(i) market conditions;\n(ii) the repayment ability of the project; and\n(iii) other factors considered relevant by the board.","path":["Title 73 Water and Irrigation","Chapter 73-10 Board of Water Resources - Division of Water Resources"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title73/Chapter10/73-10-S28.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"7097671a6acd0356790ddc9dd2e3ddd54b9f75b8943fe53033cbc6bcc49f726a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-73-10-27","next":"us-ut/utah-code-73-10-29"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
