{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-73-18-25","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 73-18-25","heading":"Fees to cover the costs of electronic payments.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Electronic payment\" has the same meaning as defined in Section 41-1a-1221.\n(b) \"Electronic payment fee\" has the same meaning as defined in Section 41-1a-1221.\n(2)\n(a) The Motor Vehicle Division may collect an electronic payment fee on all registrations and renewals of registration under Section 73-18-7.\n(b) The fee described under Subsection (2)(a) shall be imposed regardless of the method of payment for a particular transaction.\n(3) The Motor Vehicle Division shall establish the fee according to the procedures and requirements of Section 63J-1-504.\n(4) A fee imposed under this section:\n(a) shall be deposited in the Electronic Payment Fee Restricted Account created by Section 41-1a-121;\n(b) is not subject to Subsection 63J-1-105(3) or (4); and\n(c) need not be separately identified from the fees imposed on registrations and renewals of registration under Section 73-18-7.","path":["Title 73 Water and Irrigation","Chapter 73-18 State Boating Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title73/Chapter18/73-18-S25.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"54a40698d231665062d99dccb837129177c0285824445ed6399dd8512a88a5cf","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-73-18-24","next":"us-ut/utah-code-73-18a-1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
