{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-73-3b-204","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 73-3b-204","heading":"Application for a recovery permit -- Required information.","body":"(1) A person may file a recovery permit application with a recharge permit application.\n(2) The application for obtaining a recovery permit shall include the following information:\n(a) the name and mailing address of the applicant;\n(b) a legal description of the location of the existing well or proposed new well from which the applicant intends to recover artificially recharged water;\n(c) a written consent from the owner of the recharge permit, if the applicant does not hold the recharge permit;\n(d) the name and mailing address of the owner of the land from which the applicant proposes to recover artificially recharged water;\n(e) the name or description of the artificially recharged groundwater aquifer which is the source of supply;\n(f) the purpose for which the artificially recharged water will be recovered;\n(g) the depth and diameter of the existing well or proposed new well;\n(h) a legal description of the area where the artificially recharged water is proposed to be used;\n(i) the design pumping capacity of the existing well or proposed new well; and\n(j) any other information including maps, drawings, and data that the state engineer requires.\n(3)\n(a) A filing fee must be submitted with the application.\n(b) The state engineer shall establish the filing fee in accordance with Section 63J-1-504.","path":["Title 73 Water and Irrigation","Chapter 73-3b Groundwater Recharge and Recovery Act","Part 73-3b-2 Recharge and Recovery Permits"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title73/Chapter3b/73-3b-S204.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"e4947dce9873e6dd5bc852baf00e7b2ea58cdb9999b1c080c522ca6f3cfce75c","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-73-3b-203","next":"us-ut/utah-code-73-3b-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
