{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-73-4-21","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 73-4-21","heading":"Duty to update address and ownership -- Duty to follow court proceedings -- Additional notice.","body":"(1) After the service of summons in the manner prescribed by Section 73-4-4, it shall be the duty of every person served individually or by publication to:\n(a) record any change in address or water right ownership with the state engineer; and\n(b) follow all court proceedings.\n(2) Except as provided in Subsection (3), the state engineer is not required to provide any further or additional notice except the notice:\n(a) that the statement of claim is due as prescribed by Section 73-4-3;\n(b) of the list of unclaimed rights of record, as described in Section 73-4-9.5; and\n(c) of the proposed determinations as provided by Section 73-4-11.\n(3) The district court may require notice of other proceedings to be given when, in the judgment of the court, it considers notice necessary.","path":["Title 73 Water and Irrigation","Chapter 73-4 Determination of Water Rights"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title73/Chapter4/73-4-S21.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"0623d399900de35ee333555ac893c792af20fdc4d11288d771435b3ae3986142","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-73-4-20","next":"us-ut/utah-code-73-4-22"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
