{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-73-5a-204","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 73-5a-204","heading":"Application for approval.","body":"(1) If the submission of plans is not required by Subsection 73-5a-202(1) or is waived pursuant to Subsection 73-5a-202(3), approval to construct, enlarge, repair, alter, remove, or abandon the dam must be obtained by submitting an application to the state engineer.\n(2) The application shall contain:\n(a) the location of the dam;\n(b) physical dimensions of the dam;\n(c) water rights attached to the dam; and\n(d) any other information or drawings as required by the state engineer to evaluate the application.\n(3) Upon review, the application will be approved, rejected, or approved with conditions.","path":["Title 73 Water and Irrigation","Chapter 73-5a Dam Safety","Part 73-5a-2 Procedures for the Approval of Dam Construction Plans"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title73/Chapter5a/73-5a-S204.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"821766c591f0c75f7c238c868cc7656a785879cdf9d922771871524909ed15c5","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-73-5a-203","next":"us-ut/utah-code-73-5a-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
