{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-75a-1-101","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 75A-1-101","heading":"Definitions for title.","body":"As used in this title:\n(1) \"Conservator\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(2) \"Descendant\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(3) \"Electronic\" means relating to technology having electrical, digital, magnetic, wireless, optical, electromagnetic, or similar capabilities.\n(4) \"Estate\" means, except as provided in Section 75A-5-102, the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(5) \"Good faith\" means honesty in fact in the conduct or transaction concerned and the observance of reasonable fiduciary standards.\n(6) \"Guardian\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(7) \"Person\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(8) \"Personal representative\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(9) \"Property\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(10) \"Record\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(11) \"Sign\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(12) \"State\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.\n(13) \"Trust\" means, except as provided in Section 75A-5-102, the same as that term is defined in Section 75B-1-101.\n(14) \"Will\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.","path":["Title 75A Fiduciaries","Chapter 75A-1 Fiduciaries","Part 75A-1-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title75A/Chapter1/75A-1-S101.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"4e50e88ff6c2e306ffd2dd308190a2cbeb558924860979fecd248c3086030c5f","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-75-13-303","next":"us-ut/utah-code-75a-1-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
