{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-75e-10-703","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 75E-10-703","heading":"Administration of Youth Defense Fund.","body":"(1) The commission shall establish rules and procedures for the application by a county for participation in the fund.\n(2) The office shall:\n(a) receive, screen, and approve or disapprove the application of a county seeking to participate in the fund;\n(b) calculate the amount of the annual contribution to be made to the fund by each participating county;\n(c) oversee and approve disbursement of money from the fund; and\n(d) negotiate, enter into, and administer a contract with an attorney or entity to provide indigent defense services to a minor referred to the juvenile court in a participating county if the attorney or entity:\n(i) is qualified to provide indigent defense services under this chapter; and\n(ii) meets the standards consistent for providing indigent defense services under this chapter.","path":["Title 75E Criminal and Juvenile Justice Administration","Chapter 75E-10 Office Of Indigent Defense Services","Part 75E-10-7 Youth Defense Fund"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title75E/Chapter10/75E-10-S703.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"d754db56f7dc344cc89ea1880d520541a31a83b1f0c2a42516cf8e44755e6fe1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-75e-10-702","next":"us-ut/utah-code-75e-10-704"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
