{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-75e-2-303","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 75E-2-303","heading":"State grant requirements.","body":"(1) Except as provided in Subsection (2), the department may not award a grant of state funds to an entity subject to, and not in compliance with, the reporting requirements described in Subsection 75E-2-210(5).\n(2)\n(a) The department may award a grant to an entity under Section 75E-2-306 even if the entity is not in compliance with the reporting requirements described in Subsection 75E-2-210(5).\n(b) Subsection (1) does not apply to the law enforcement reporting requirements for certain firearm data described in Section 53-25-502.\n(3) The department may not award a grant of state funds to an entity subject to the requirements described in Sections 53-21-102 and 53-21-104.3, if the department has determined, after receiving a recommendation described in Subsection 75E-3-202(1)(i)(ii) from the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice, that the entity is not eligible to receive state grant funds under this section.","path":["Title 75E Criminal and Juvenile Justice Administration","Chapter 75E-2 Department Of Criminal Justice","Part 75E-2-3 Grants And Funds"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title75E/Chapter2/75E-2-S303.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"c93e4277969da731ffcb21830d64a96e4def36b673dac386d2b70a80898fc2f8","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-75e-2-302","next":"us-ut/utah-code-75e-2-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
