{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-76-5c-303","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 76-5c-303","heading":"Qualification for distribution of films.","body":"(1) A distributor that is a corporation shall be qualified to distribute films within this state if:\n(a) the corporation is a domestic corporation in good standing or a foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state; and\n(b) the corporation submits the corporation to the jurisdiction and laws of this state relating to being a distributor in this state.\n(2) A distributor which is not a corporation shall be qualified to distribute films within this state if:\n(a) the distributor has and continuously maintains a registered office in this state; and\n(b) the distributor has a registered agent whose business address is at that registered office and which is either an individual residing and domiciled in this state, a domestic corporation in good standing, or a foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state.\n(3) This section does not affect the right to serve process, a notice, or a demand, required or permitted by law to be served upon a distributor, in any other manner provided by law.","path":["Title 76 Criminal Offenses","Chapter 76-5c Pornographic and Harmful Materials and Performances","Part 76-5c-3 Distribution and Exhibition of Motion Picture Films"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title76/Chapter5c/76-5c-S303.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"50bfe40443d5cda9decd8130dee454277552c2281e59346fca90c561d91d3d58","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-76-5c-302","next":"us-ut/utah-code-76-5c-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
