{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-76-6-1101","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 76-6-1101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(1) As used in this part:\n(a) \"Personal identifying information\" may include:\n(i) name;\n(ii) birth date;\n(iii) address;\n(iv) telephone number;\n(v) driver license number;\n(vi) social security number;\n(vii) place of employment;\n(viii) employee identification numbers or other personal identification numbers;\n(ix) mother's maiden name;\n(x) electronic identification numbers;\n(xi) electronic signatures under Title 46, Chapter 4, Uniform Electronic Transactions Act;\n(xii) any other numbers or information that can be used to access a person's financial resources or medical information, except for numbers or information that can be prosecuted as financial transaction card offenses under Sections 76-6-506, 76-6-506.2, 76-6-506.3, and 76-6-506.6; or\n(xiii) a photograph or any other realistic likeness.\n(b) \"Restitution\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 77-38b-102.","path":["Title 76 Criminal Offenses","Chapter 76-6 Offenses Against Property","Part 76-6-11 Identity Fraud Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title76/Chapter6/76-6-S1101.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"b4f5ab739f9919ab6e9bc20b6fe38d7ee16f13b8d20d19b41933fd1a53c52f72","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-76-6-1003","next":"us-ut/utah-code-76-6-1102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
