{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-76-8-903","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 76-8-903","heading":"Assembling for advocating criminal syndicalism or sabotage.","body":"(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5, 76-8-101, and 76-8-901 apply to this section.\n(2) An actor commits assembling for advocating criminal syndicalism or sabotage if the actor, as a means of accomplishing or effecting industrial or political ends, change, or revolution:\n(a) assembles with two or more individuals; and\n(b) assembles for the purpose of advocating, teaching, or suggesting:\n(i) the doctrine of criminal syndicalism; or\n(ii) the duty, necessity, propriety, or expediency of performing an act of violence, destroying or damaging property, causing bodily injury to an individual, or committing a crime or unlawful act .\n(3) A violation of Subsection (2) is a third degree felony.","path":["Title 76 Criminal Offenses","Chapter 76-8 Offenses Against the Administration of Government","Part 76-8-9 Syndicalism and Sabotage"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title76/Chapter8/76-8-S903.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"1445d54646a0ee634a01e949cbfb18386788923a8497b09bb47db57a5fb2c779","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-76-8-902","next":"us-ut/utah-code-76-8-904"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
