{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-76-9-102.1","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 76-9-102.1","heading":"Aggravated disorderly conduct on a street or highway.","body":"(1) Terms defined in Section 76-1-101.5 apply to this section.\n(2) An actor commits aggravated disorderly conduct on a street or highway if the actor:\n(a) intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly obstructs vehicular or pedestrian traffic on a street or highway with:\n(i) a speed limit of 40 miles per hour or more; or\n(ii) at least two lanes in the same direction of travel; and\n(b) refuses to comply with the lawful order of a law enforcement officer to move from the street or highway.\n(3)\n(a) Except as provided in Subsection (3)(b), a violation of Subsection (2) is a class B misdemeanor.\n(b) A violation of Subsection (2) is a class A misdemeanor if within one year before the day on which the actor violates this section, the actor was previously convicted of a violation of Subsection (2).","path":["Title 76 Criminal Offenses","Chapter 76-9 Offenses Against Public Order, Health, and Safety","Part 76-9-1 Breaches of the Peace and Related Offenses"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title76/Chapter9/76-9-S102.1.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"7e15613fdbca4776796c0bab75e48029ccbd459bdc523e5d8dedcc09b9ec3a19","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-76-9-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-76-9-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
