{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-76-9-1304","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 76-9-1304","heading":"Unlawful disposal of carcass or offal.","body":"(1) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.1 and 76-9-1301 apply to this section.\n(2) An actor commits unlawful disposal of carcass or offal if the actor:\n(a) puts the carcass of a dead animal, or the offal from a slaughter pen, corral, or butcher shop, into a river, creek, pond, street, alley, or public highway, or road in common use; or\n(b) attempts to destroy by fire the carcass of a dead animal, or the offal from a slaughter pen, corral, or butcher shop, within one-fourth of a mile of a city or town.\n(3) A violation of Subsection (2) is a class B misdemeanor.","path":["Title 76 Criminal Offenses","Chapter 76-9 Offenses Against Public Order, Health, and Safety","Part 76-9-13 Criminal Nuisance"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title76/Chapter9/76-9-S1304.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"615a2357ac726f6ecf70e9356f3d1996237fef8644aec349349815b43495291a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-76-9-1303","next":"us-ut/utah-code-76-9-1305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
