{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-77-42-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 77-42-103","heading":"Duties.","body":"(1) The attorney general shall:\n(a) develop and operate a system to collect, analyze, maintain, and disseminate information on offenders; and\n(b) make information listed in Section 77-42-104 available to the public.\n(2) Any prosecuting attorney who obtains a conviction for an offense listed in Section 77-42-105 shall:\n(a) inform the attorney general within 45 business days of sentencing; and\n(b) in a manner prescribed by the attorney general, cooperate with a request for information by the attorney general.\n(3) The attorney general shall:\n(a) provide the following additional information when available:\n(i) the crimes for which the offender has been convicted;\n(ii) a description of the offender's targets; and\n(iii) any other relevant identifying information as determined by the attorney general;\n(b) maintain the Utah White Collar Crime Offender Registry website; and\n(c) ensure that information is entered into the offender registry in a timely manner.","path":["Title 77 Criminal Procedure","Chapter 77-42 Utah White Collar Crime Offender Registry"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title77/Chapter42/77-42-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"804ef3dbf7284918ac551b787316af25f4117db40d7ede5f0b04e3e80896e327","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-77-42-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-77-42-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
