{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-78a-2-114","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 78A-2-114","heading":"Judicial financial disclosure -- Reporting requirement.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"judicial officer\" means a judge or a court commissioner of the justice court, the district court, the juvenile court, the Business and Chancery Court, the Court of Appeals, or the Supreme Court.\n(2) The Judicial Council shall:\n(a) by rule, require a judicial officer to submit an annual financial disclosure that is comparable to the conflict of interest disclosure described in Section 20A-11-1604; and\n(b) post a judicial officer's annual financial disclosure described in Subsection (2)(a) on a website that allows the public to access the disclosure.\n(3) Before November 1, 2026, the Judicial Council shall submit a written report describing the actions the Judicial Council has taken under Subsection (2) to the Judiciary Interim Committee.","path":["Title 78A Judiciary and Judicial Administration","Chapter 78A-2 Judicial Administration","Part 78A-2-1 Judicial Administration"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title78A/Chapter2/78A-2-S114.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"8036a222ca10f54f2fc060deb259586d263a1505c6bc849176231fab93f118b3","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-78a-2-113","next":"us-ut/utah-code-78a-2-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
