{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-78a-2-602","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 78A-2-602","heading":"Court Security Account -- Creation -- Funding -- Uses.","body":"(1) There is created a restricted account in the General Fund known as the \"Court Security Account.\"\n(2) The state treasurer shall deposit in the Court Security Account money from:\n(a) the surcharge established in Section 78A-2-601;\n(b) the portions of filing fees allocated under Subsections 78A-2-301(1)(j)(iv) and (v); and\n(c) the portions of a surcharge allocated under Subsections 78A-7-122(3) and (4)(b)(ii).\n(3) The Court Security Account consists of money:\n(a) deposited by the state treasurer under Subsection (2); and\n(b) appropriated by the Legislature.\n(4) Subject to appropriation, the Administrative Office of the Courts shall use the allocation to contract for court security at all courts of record throughout the state.","path":["Title 78A Judiciary and Judicial Administration","Chapter 78A-2 Judicial Administration","Part 78A-2-6 Court Security"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title78A/Chapter2/78A-2-S602.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"337419e6c799adeff45d84617b117671d34060041f38749276692175a8bd37ab","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-78a-2-601","next":"us-ut/utah-code-78a-2-701"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
