{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-79-4-207","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 79-4-207","heading":"Division rulemaking authority.","body":"(1) The division may make rules to:\n(a) govern the use of the state park system, including to:\n(i) determine when to close or partially close a state park; and\n(ii) establish use or access restrictions within a state park; and\n(b) protect a natural or cultural resource in a state park from misuse or damage.\n(2) The division shall make rules to:\n(a) govern the collection of charges under Subsection 79-4-203(8); and\n(b) implement a program for veteran access to state parks as described in Section 79-4-1002.\n(3) The division may not make rules that prevent the transfer of livestock along a livestock highway established under Section 72-3-112.\n(4) The division shall makes rules under this section in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.","path":["Title 79 Natural Resources","Chapter 79-4 State Parks","Part 79-4-2 Division Creation and Administration"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title79/Chapter4/79-4-S207.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"4af1f0568f866fc7255c9e6e00d21af0fb92c7c70f75d5f644d9525c1a7233ec","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-79-4-206","next":"us-ut/utah-code-79-4-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
