{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-79-4-402","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 79-4-402","heading":"State Parks Restricted Account.","body":"(1) There is created within the General Fund a restricted account known as the State Parks Restricted Account.\n(2)\n(a) Except as provided in Subsection (2)(b), the account consists of revenue from:\n(i) charges allowed under Section 79-4-203;\n(ii) proceeds from the sale or disposal of bison under Subsection 79-4-1001(2)(b);\n(iii) civil damages collected under Section 76-6-206.2; and\n(iv) interest on money deposited in the account as follows:\n(A) 25% of total interest beginning on July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026;\n(B) 50% of total interest beginning on July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027;\n(C) 75% of total interest beginning on July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028; and\n(D) 100% of total interest beginning on July 1, 2028, and each year thereafter.\n(b) The account may not include revenue the division receives under Section 79-4-403 and Subsection 79-4-1001(2)(a).\n(3) The division shall use funds in this account for the purposes described in Section 79-4-203.","path":["Title 79 Natural Resources","Chapter 79-4 State Parks","Part 79-4-4 Finances"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title79/Chapter4/79-4-S402.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"07f5dda97d5c20c7b305428432c59c7a6e10d2483d38a24d568ea4b9bd3f9c37","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-79-4-207","next":"us-ut/utah-code-79-4-403"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
