{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-79-5-102","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 79-5-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) \"Committee\" means the Utah Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Advisory Committee created in Section 79-7-206.\n(2) \"Division\" means the Division of Outdoor Recreation.\n(3) \"Recreational trail\" or \"trail\" means a multi-use path used for:\n(a) muscle-powered activities, including:\n(i) bicycling;\n(ii) cross-country skiing;\n(iii) walking;\n(iv) jogging; and\n(v) horseback riding; and\n(b) uses compatible with the uses described in Subsection (3)(a), including the use of an electric assisted bicycle or motor assisted scooter, as defined in Section 41-6a-102.","path":["Title 79 Natural Resources","Chapter 79-5 Recreational Trails","Part 79-5-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title79/Chapter5/79-5-S102.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"59f449d68cb74c3fe6ecd7a40c7c4a9454fa2d5ddd00d1bf6acc4d15a1c77a23","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-79-4-1304","next":"us-ut/utah-code-79-5-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
