{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-79-6-903","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 79-6-903","heading":"Powers and duties of the board -- Oversight -- Staff support.","body":"(1) Subject to the provisions of this part and in accordance with Title 79, Chapter 6, Part 6, High Cost Infrastructure Development Tax Credit Act, the board shall:\n(a) evaluate each application using the criteria described in Subsections 79-6-603(1) and (2);\n(b) make recommendations to the office regarding each application; and\n(c) for an application related to a fuel standard compliance project, determine the amount of the authorized tax credit using the criteria described in Subsection 79-6-603(4).\n(2) The office shall:\n(a) oversee the board's performance;\n(b) provide the board office space, furnishings, and supplies; and\n(c) provide the board staff support.\n(3) With the consent of the attorney general, the office may retain legal counsel to advise the board on matters relating to the board's operations.","path":["Title 79 Natural Resources","Chapter 79-6 Utah Energy Act","Part 79-6-9 Utah Energy Infrastructure Board Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title79/Chapter6/79-6-S903.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"2d2640c26f4c0b26323047c6655cb2790ac84a24ca91acdd85699f43ee7809ba","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-79-6-902","next":"us-ut/utah-code-79-6-1001"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
