{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-79-8-401","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 79-8-401","heading":"Creation and purpose of infrastructure grant program.","body":"(1) There is created the Outdoor Recreational Infrastructure Grant Program administered by the division.\n(2) The division may seek to accomplish the following objectives in administering the infrastructure grant program:\n(a) build, maintain, and promote recreational infrastructure projects to provide greater access to low-cost outdoor recreation for the state's citizens;\n(b) encourage residents and nonresidents of the state to take advantage of the beauty of Utah's outdoors;\n(c) encourage individuals and businesses to relocate to the state;\n(d) promote outdoor exercise; and\n(e) provide outdoor recreational opportunities to an underserved community in the state.\n(3) The advisory committee shall advise and make recommendations to the division regarding infrastructure grants.","path":["Title 79 Natural Resources","Chapter 79-8 Outdoor Recreation Grants","Part 79-8-4 Outdoor Recreational Infrastructure Grant Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title79/Chapter8/79-8-S401.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"a26164b44c7a2098de7845c1354689fbd35de437de7a7c9c623706ea834f5fc6","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-79-8-303","next":"us-ut/utah-code-79-8-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
