{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-81-11-304","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 81-11-304","heading":"Temporary parent-time.","body":"(1) A court of this state which does not have jurisdiction to modify a child custody determination may issue a temporary order enforcing:\n(a) a parent-time schedule made by a court of another state; or\n(b) the parent-time provisions of a child custody determination of another state that does not provide for a specific parent-time schedule.\n(2)\n(a) If a court of this state makes an order under Subsection (1)(b), the court shall specify in the order a period that the court considers adequate to allow the petitioner to obtain an order from a court having jurisdiction under the criteria specified in Part 2, Jurisdiction.\n(b) The order remains in effect until an order is obtained from the other court or the period expires.","path":["Title 81 Utah Domestic Relations Code","Chapter 81-11 Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act","Part 81-11-3 Enforcement"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title81/Chapter11/81-11-S304.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"67a9bf85c9611175af992026cf45a0b42b5aba54da35d6df35ffb22eb7f9aa5c","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-81-11-303","next":"us-ut/utah-code-81-11-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
