{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-81-5-616","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 81-5-616","heading":"Temporary order.","body":"(1) In a proceeding under this part, the tribunal shall issue a temporary order for support of a child if the order is appropriate and the individual ordered to pay support is:\n(a) a presumed father of the child;\n(b) petitioning to be adjudicated a parent;\n(c) identified as the father through genetic testing under Section 81-5-505;\n(d) an alleged father who has failed to submit to genetic testing;\n(e) shown by clear and convincing evidence to be the father of the child; or\n(f) the birth mother of the child.\n(2) A temporary tribunal order may include provisions for custody and visitation as provided by other laws of this state.","path":["Title 81 Utah Domestic Relations Code","Chapter 81-5 Uniform Parentage Act","Part 81-5-6 Adjudication of Parentage"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title81/Chapter5/81-5-S616.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:34Z","sha256":"070914ae77c8d651ea997af804460d99923d0ebd37b95de1049b619a7629e8b0","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-81-5-615","next":"us-ut/utah-code-81-5-617"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
