{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-9-23-310","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 9-23-310","heading":"Contests.","body":"(1) Except as provided in Section 9-23-317, a licensee may not participate in an unarmed combat contest within a predetermined time after another unarmed combat contest, as prescribed in rules made by the commission.\n(2) During the period of time beginning 60 minutes before the beginning of a contest, the promoter shall demonstrate the promoter's compliance with the commission's security requirements to all commission members present at the contest.\n(3) The commission shall establish fees in accordance with Section 63J-1-504 to be paid by a promoter for the conduct of each contest or event composed of multiple contests conducted under this chapter.","path":["Title 9 Cultural and Community Engagement","Chapter 9-23 Pete Suazo Utah Athletic Commission Act","Part 9-23-3 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title9/Chapter23/9-23-S310.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"53b5973a5552cca0ec62aca4083293482a7489a8841cdd19d84c06d3efa6c737","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-9-23-309","next":"us-ut/utah-code-9-23-311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
