{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-9-7-219","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 9-7-219","heading":"Community Library Enhancement Fund Grant Program.","body":"(1) There is created within the division the Community Library Enhancement Fund Grant Program, consisting of grants to be distributed to certified public libraries within the state for:\n(a) collection development;\n(b) patron-facing technology;\n(c) programming;\n(d) compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.; and\n(e) minor capital projects.\n(2) The division shall:\n(a) establish a formula-based grant application process that includes the following data points:\n(i) service area;\n(ii) population served;\n(iii) local operating expenditures;\n(iv) median household income; and\n(v) state certification status;\n(b) assign and distribute funding based on the established criteria described in Subsection (2)(a); and\n(c) gather metrics to analyze grant effectiveness and impact.","path":["Title 9 Cultural and Community Engagement","Chapter 9-7 Library Development","Part 9-7-2 State Library Division"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title9/Chapter7/9-7-S219.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"37ebfd61ff2ac935b7ec80999b55fb7683f02b329b3ad940235763aba8ae008d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-9-7-218","next":"us-ut/utah-code-9-7-302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
