{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-9-8a-206","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 9-8a-206","heading":"Utah Archaeological and Historic Sites Grant Program.","body":"(1) The office shall:\n(a) administer the money contained in the grant program; and\n(b) select qualified recipients in accordance with Subsection (2).\n(2) The office may distribute the money from the grant program to or on behalf of a private landowner:\n(a) that applies to the office, in a manner prescribed by the office, to receive funding or technical assistance through the grant program; and\n(b) by direct payment to the landowner or a third party for work related to identifying and protecting archaeological resources on the landowner's property, if the private landowner or third party contributes an amount of money or in-kind work equal to or greater than the amount of money received from the grant program.","path":["Title 9 Cultural and Community Engagement","Chapter 9-8a State Historic Preservation Office","Part 9-8a-2 State Historic Preservation Office"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title9/Chapter8a/9-8a-S206.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"b84f6020e98a04098167e4dc5e2042faf6e63ecb8710394fe7999f06f51f081d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-9-8a-205","next":"us-ut/utah-code-9-8a-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
